New Wave Solder machine

The CMS-400 with its “pallet conveyor” is particularly suited to Microtech’s batch manufacturing.
The machine is fully computer controlled allowing rapid reprogramming between batches of printed circuit boards (PCBs) that require different soldering profiles.
The settings can be stored and then recalled to configure the machine with 100% accuracy ready for when the next batch is needed.
The CMS-400 is designed to reduce waste; the use of Argon gas prevents unnecessary oxidation of the solder bath and dramatically reduces the amount of solder dross produced. The spray fluxer reduces flux usage by having sensors that ensure that only the PCB is fluxed. To save power, the solder bath and preheats are controlled by software. This allows the machine to switch on automatically in order to be ready for a planned run.
The CMS-400 will be installed, commissioned and working by the second week of January 2012.
